Deliriously happy right now! lol. I got into grad school. Classes start June 7th! Tonight, I'm staying in the moment and celebrating. Tomorrow I'll figure out the next steps (moving, finances, etc.)
It's still surreal right now. I can't believe they accepted me!

FANTASTIC!!! I'm so happy for you, Pip. I know that you have worked very hard to get in and I'm also confident that you will do well in grad school. Way to go. All my best! Thanks Harmonium. I am honestly extremely emotional but it is emotional in a good way. lol. I accomplished what I set out to do and even with all of the anxiety, I did it. I can't even describe how good it feels to put in all that hard work, and have it pay off.
I am so happy right now that I don't even know what to do. lol. Enjoy the moment. And tomorrow and this weekend I'll get back to the nitty-gritty task of figuring out how in the world I am going to pay for this and the rest of the logistics. I am just so grateful, happy and euphoric right now.
I'm sure that I'm probably having some wacked perceptions about the situation but right now it is in a happy place so tonight I relish the moment and tomorrow I'll figure out the rest.
Of course, I'm terrified as well - massive change coming my way but again I will break that down step by step and figure it out one baby step at a time.

Pip, this IS a Huge Deal and from what you've written-- your emotions/perceptions sound perfectly 'normal' to me! I love that you are anticipating more hard work ahead-- and planning for it-- but are still taking the chance to relish in this wonderful moment! I know that you can figure out all that nitty-gritty logistical stuff......but for now, WOO-HOOO!!!

That is so awesome! I figure that if I start taking notes for my Master's thesis now, I will probably have it written by the time I manage to get back into school.

Congrats! I finished grad school in 06 and it was the most rewarding experience aside from my two kids... Have a great time developing your life in such a positive way!
