I am practicing at being a better listener and it is paying dividends. I know how important it has been for me personally to feel heard so I am sure that others feel this need as well. I am letting people talk and when they pause I am waiting to see if they are really done speaking before I just jump in. It is pretty hard for me to do but it is worth it because a lot of times what they end up saying is not what I thought they were going to say.
