Hi everybody. I'm here mostly to figure out a way to help my mom. I want to cope with her better. Reading about borderline has been my gateway towards helping her too. I myself do not have borderline although I'm avoidant. My mother has it though, I'm pretty sure. My therapist agrees with my assessment. Lately she's been behaving. We've been getting along. I credit the books I've read to the improvement. I wanted to hear from other people how they get along with their illness and manage.

For me it has been having a comprehensive understanding of BPD and to take responsibilty for my own recovery. Is there any possibility you can get her into some kind of therapy?
