I log in, then try to go into a forum, and I get the message saying I can't have access to that forum (I forgot the wording). I also get the message that my user name is taken. Do I have to re-register or what?

I just added help to my username to be able to post this.

When you login, do you check the option to stay logged in?

Thanks, Ash. Do you mean where it says "log me on automatically each visit?" I never used to check that, and never had trouble logging in. Or, do you mean somewhere else?

Just now, I accessed the board controls (I forgot to write down the exact name, where we can change our settings), but it asked me to log in again. Every place I try to get to, it says I have to log in or that my username is taken.

Why couldn't I post in this forum under "wondering"?
Do I have to enter the confirmation code each time I post anywhere?

After I posted my second message here, I checked off the "log me on automaticlly each visit" and it seemed to work. Do we still have to read that confirmation code? I've typed it in wrong, and then it doesn't give me a new one for a while. I have to play around with it. Hopefully, now that I checked the "log me in automatically" I won't have that trouble.

I'm not sure. I've never been asked for a confirmation code. I'll start poking around and see what I can come up with.

If you try to post in the Help forum while not logged in, it asks you to type the code in the picture, and you can't post under a name that belongs to a registered user.

I don't know why you weren't able to stay logged in before.
