all of a sudden I have this fear of failing again. I am going to school today for a new career step and I am nervous. See, vocational rehab (the state) is paying for me to go and my counselor didn't want to. she said its too expensive and she was not convinced of the program, but.....she believes in me! so that's why she got it approved for me to go. No pressure or anything LOL. but for the most part, I know I am going to sail through my classes. I have a degree as a medical assistant so I have done this stuff in college before. i just need some refreshers so that I can get a good job.

and with medical transcription, you can work from home which would be totally awesome with my anxiety! I wouldnt' have to worry about missing any time from work!

so I am doing as someone mentioned in another thread (sorry I just drew a blank on who it was....) to face my fear and use it in a positive way. so I am off to get ready for school and be ready for the new challenge! I just need some support and encouragement to get through the anxiety I guess..........plus its an update on what's going on for me.......this is huge for me!

Roo

one foot in front of the other. step, step, out the door, into the class and yes, you wont fail!

its ok to be afraid. just dont let it win. its hard to face that fear and do it anyways!

This IS huge! Congrats! It's normal to be nervous before beginning something like this....just don't let the nerves stop you. Like you said, use the fear to your advantage! You already have much of this under your belt, so this next stage you will be the star of the class (if you want). In any case, the study load should be lightened. It's cool that you get to work from home after this...I would LOVE to do that!

I like what Jody said....one foot in front of the other...
And please, don't forget to breathe!!!!!

You can do this. You have been through more difficult things and come out clean on the other side. You can do this, repeat after me, Roo can do this, Roo can do this, Roo can do this......

Have fun with it!! :D
