I have not been diagnosed with BPD, but a couple of years ago while reading I recognized myself in the symptoms. I have done further reading and it's pretty obvious that I am. I have tried to change without any support, some success, but I fall back more than I go forward. I am not adverse to counselling to work through my issues. Even if I make the choice to get formal help in the future, I'm hoping I will feel less isolated by being involved with a group. Looking forward to getting to know you all.

thank you... yesterday was such a low for me. Woke up today knowing I needed I find some support. Finding this group has stopped what could have been a bad tailspin. Funny that I just got off the phone with my son who I'm really worried about, which was one part of the low yesterday, he opened up to me about himself, me, our relationship. If I hadn't found this group, I might not have answered his call if I'd still been in that low. Finding your message once I finished talking with him has reinforced my hope that I've found a good path to follow.
I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all... but after working my way through the tool and working on some of the homework, I have long way to go.

What a morning, I keep getting interrupted by the telephone. Everyone has been so great, I have some fear of being able to succeed today, the support here can help keep me on track. It's been an eye opener to see how many people, feel or react as I do, hopefully that will help on the days I feel negatively about myself.
My thanks to everyone, I'm thankful today to have a network of people who understand.

Now I better start working on my list of this I hope to get done today. My morning has disappeared, I want to keep a sense of moving forward. I'll pop back once I've accomplish a couple or a few things.
