My name is Candy65 and I am getting soo stressed out that I feel like can not handle anymore. My boy-friend is stressing me out,cause he has a lot of physical problems,which I know it is not his fault,but he does not do anything to help himself,but I do still love him. I am not taking care of myself,cause I am trying to take care of him,and it is not working. In the meantime I have tenditios in my wrist which is not healed yet,it has been over 3 months and I am taking medications for it and I see the doctor at the end of this month. How can radically acceptance help me with these situations? I just need a friend and I need to learn how the tools will help me.I am new here. Thanks for reading this.

ya, i'm not too good at the tools unfortunately. i went to enough dbt to try and visualize a safe happy place. that helps me sometimes. also taking hot showers. i take a lot of them when i'm stressed.

Candy, maybe you could pick one tool and just try it. You'll get lots of feedback if you do. Maybe you can start with The Ten Forms of Twisted Thinking, or pick one specific problem and work The Five Steps on it. jim
